Summary

Description
The recommendations substantiate and recommend targeted protective measures to reduce the internal exposure dose to residents of 78 settlements in the Brest, Gomel and Mogilev regions.

Recommendations were sent to specialists of regional executive committees for organizing work to eliminate the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster in terms of reducing the doses of internal radiation to residents of rural settlements.
Advantages and Innovations
Information on the levels of Cs-137 content in food products of residents of rural settlements is presented, actual internal doses of residents of settlements are given, in which, according to the Catalog of Irradiation Doses, the exposure limit established by law (1 mSv/year) is exceeded.
