Summary
The Institute of Forest offers consumers technologies for plantation forest cultivation of coniferous tree species to meet the needs of enterprises in the wood processing and pulp and paper industries with target assortments of coniferous tree species under a commercial agreement with technical assistance and is looking for partners interested in improving the technology taking into account regional forest growing conditions under a technical cooperation agreement.
Description
The technologies are designed to provide the target assortments of coniferous tree species for the needs of enterprises in the woodworking and pulp and paper industries.

The technology of plantation forest cultivation of coniferous tree species (pine and spruce) solves the problems of obtaining commercial timber with specified characteristics (large, medium, small) with minimal negative impact on the environment.

Scope - forestry, forest industry complex. The technologies are aimed at accelerated plantation forest cultivation, obtaining coniferous wood of a certain quality and preserving forests of natural origin.

Advantages and Innovations
Reduction of the final felling rotation in coniferous stands by 25–30 years, transportation costs for timber delivery when plantation forest stands are located near large woodworking and pulp and paper enterprises.

Implementation of technologies ensures a 1.5–2.0-fold reduction in the period of growing target assortments of pine and spruce and obtaining timber with specified characteristics by the age of 35–55 years of plantation forest crops, an increase in the yield of target timber of a certain quality per felling rotation.

Technologies contribute to the conservation of natural forests and biological diversity, do not contradict environmental requirements.

The necessary technological complexes of machines for plantation forest cultivation are available in state forestry institutions of the Ministry of Forestry.
