Summary
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus offers consumers a research of thermophysical properties of materials under an outsourcing agreement or subcontracting.
Description
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus is equipped with a set of equipment that allows you to perform a complete thermophysical characterization of materials in a wide temperature range.

Research is being carried out on the thermophysical properties of polymer composites, inorganic materials created for spacecraft and instruments, research related to quality control and the identity of materials, the flow of chemical and physical processes, and the thermal behavior of materials.

Employees of the Institute are proficient in the latest methods of thermophysical measurements, develop proprietary methods for conducting research on materials of various functional classes.

Experimental research methods:
monotonous heating in the temperature range from -150°С to +200°С
radiation heating at temperatures from room to 2000°С
laser flash at temperatures from room to 1100°С
synchronous thermal analysis (TG, DTA, DSC) from -150°С to +1600°С
dilatometry in the temperature range from -150°С to +1600°С

The Institute conducts scientific research in the following areas: study of the influence of the composition of composites and external influences (temperature, thermal cycling, highly concentrated energy flows) on the thermal properties of materials; synthesis and study of structural-phase features and properties of inorganic nanomaterials.

The Institute offers partners research of thermophysical properties of materials under an outsourcing agreement or subcontract.
