Description
Experimental and Production Enterprise "Ferrit" manufactures magnetic lattice separators of the SMR-1, SMR-2, SMR-3 series with permanent magnets, designed to remove ferromagnetic metal particles fr om the flow of bulk materials transported through the product pipeline, to protect process equipment from damage by accidental metal items.
Lattice separators of the SMR-1, SMR-2, SMR-3 series, as a rule, are used wh ere there is a need for effective cleaning of the material, but the installation of stationary magnetic separators is difficult or their use is impractical.
Separators are installed in any place of movement of the separated product (material) moving along a vertical, inclined or horizontal closed or open product pipeline, as well as in the supply or storage bins of technological equipment.
Separators of the SMR-1, SMR-2, SMR-3 series can be made of any geometric shape (circle, rectangle, pyramid) in accordance with the profile of the product pipeline. In the bunker, the magnetic grid can be installed on its bottom in front of the outlet pipeline, and in cased or uncased versions, the magnetic separator can be placed in the bunker between its walls.
Principle of operation:
Magnetic separators SMR-1, SMR-2, SMR-3 series are a set of magnetic rods that together form a magnetic grid with a special configuration of the magnetic field. The magnetic rod is a tube made of non-magnetic stainless steel, inside which are permanent magnets that create a constant magnetic field. The flow of the separated product, passing through the magnetic grid, falls into the zone of action of its magnetic field, and the metal-magnetic impurities in it are attracted to the magnetic rods and are held on them. Cleaning of the magnetic separator from the extracted ferromagnetic impurities handmade.
Magnetic separators of the SMR-1, SMR-2, SMR-3 series are available in various modifications depending on the type of execution and diameter of magnetic rods:
SMR-1 — single magnetic rods of various diameters;
SMR-2 — magnetic rods assembled in grids;
SMR-3 — magnetic gratings of various designs for installation in receiving bunkers of technological equipment.

2. The maximum magnetic field induction on the surface of magnetic rods (at 20°C) is up to 800 mT
3. The maximum operating temperature is up to 150°C
4. The diameter of the magnetic rods is 20, 25, 40 mm and more
5. The number of rows of magnetic rods - 1-3 or more
6. Cleaning of the magnetic separator from delayed metal impurities - manual
7. The mass of retained metal particles is from 0.001 to 1 kg
Technical parameters can be changed at the request of the customer in accordance with the specific conditions of installation of the separator in the existing production line.

- at food industry enterprises in the production and packaging of bulk food products;
- at enterprises for the manufacture of plastic products at the stage of preparation of raw materials;
