Summary
The Institute of Physiology offers consumers a 4D bioprinter with two extruders and microsyringes for layer-by-layer implantation of stem cells and extracellular matrix elements in the nanoliter range into the area of damage to the nervous tissue of the brain under a manufacturing agreement or research under a subcontracting and is looking for partners to conclude a research cooperation agreement.
Description
4D Bioprinter with two extruders and microsyringes for layer-by-layer implantation in the nanoliter range of stem cells and extracellular matrix elements in the area of damage to the nervous tissue of the brain. Since strokes and brain injuries of various etiologies are accompanied by the death of 1.9 million neurons, 14 billion synapses and 12 kilometers of myelinated nerve fibers every minute [Mandalaneni K. et al., 2022], it is advisable to use bioprinting at the initial stages of the disease to restore local cerebral blood flow, as well as the ratio of glial elements and neural networks in damaged areas of the brain. Due to the fundamental novelty of the problem of applied implementation of the key stages of 4D bioprinting, a thorough verification of 4D technology in experimental studies is required. The bioprinting process is carried out directly at the site of brain damage.
The 4D bioprinter was demonstrated in 2021 at the Exhibition Pavilion of the Republic of Belarus in Dubai.

Additional comments
The Institute is a leading scientific institution coordinating physiological research in the Republic of Belarus. The institute successfully carries out fundamental and applied research aimed at developing methods for the prevention and correction of pathological conditions of hypoxic, ischemic and inflammatory genesis, and develops new devices and methods for their therapeutic and prophylactic use. The main scientific activity of the departments is currently focused on studying the mechanisms of the formation of pathological conditions of the body (primarily hypoxic and neurodestructive) and substantiating new technologies for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. Particular attention is paid to the development of complex methods for the treatment of malignant tumors using metabolic blockade effectors and high-intensity pulsed magnetic fields and methods for controlling the proliferation of tumor cells based on changes in the functional state of neuroreceptors in vitro and in vivo, as well as the development of a method for immunotherapy of patients suffering from pancreatic cancer. , using autologous dendritic cells primed with tumor antigens and elucidating new mechanisms of tumor formation, substantiation of prevention methods. Studies of the molecular mechanisms of proliferation, differentiation and oncogenesis are being carried out; physiological and therapeutic effect of physical factors and the development of new technologies of physiotherapy and physiotherapy equipment and experimental analysis of positive and negative aspects of the use of nanoparticles and heterocyclic compounds in biomedical technologies. The neurophysiological bases of dysregulation of the functions of internal organs during ischemia of the nervous tissue of various origins are being studied. Works on the physiology of nutrition and sports are being carried out. Preclinical studies of drugs and nanomaterials are underway. Research is being carried out on the safety of biosubstances, biotherapeutic agents, pharmacological complexes and medical products on the basis of agreements with manufacturing enterprises and research institutions. The staff of the Institute conducts research on the mechanisms of interaction between neurons and glial cells in normal and pathological conditions. The functional role of biological preparations (platelet-rich plasma, suspension of mitochondria, mesenchymal stem cells, etc.) in the activation of reparative processes in strokes and brain injuries, ischemia of the lower extremities is being studied. Methods for stable remote monitoring of vital human functions (heart, blood vessels, respiration, temperature, motor activity, brain activity) are being developed. Particular attention is paid to the study of the functional role of the extracellular matrix and stem cells in the development of neoplasms. Cell technologies are being developed for the treatment of malignant diseases. The Institute also evaluates the therapeutic and therapeutic-prophylactic properties of natural mineral waters and the effectiveness of pre- and probiotics - food, food supplements.
Close scientific cooperation is carried out with scientists from Russia, China and Uzbekistan.
