Summary
The Institute of Applied Physics offers consumers portable TPC hardness testers for non-destructive testing of the physical and mechanical properties of materials in industrial production under amsnufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Portable hardness testers TPTs provide the possibility of non-destructive testing of physical and mechanical
properties of materials in industrial production to increase the competitiveness of products of enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.
Many years of experience in use at enterprises of the Republic of Belarus have shown that portable hardness testers developed at the Institute of Applied Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are competitive and are not inferior in characteristics to similar hardness testers made abroad.
The use of portable hardness testers makes it possible to ensure high quality of products of industrial enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.
Portable hardness testers TPTs-5, TPTs-4M, TPTs-7 are designed for non-destructive measurement of the hardness of products made of carbon structural steels on the Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers scales in the range of 90–450 HB, 20–70 HRC, 100–950 HV. Allows you to evaluate the hardness of other metal materials: alloy steels, cast irons, non-ferrous metals and alloys. Measurement objects can be pressure vessels for various purposes (reactors, steam generators, collectors, boiler drums, gas tanks, etc.), turbine and generator rotors, pipelines, rolling rolls, crankshafts, gears, parts of various vehicles, industrial semi-finished products (castings, forgings) , sheets), etc.
Hardness testers can be used to measure the hardness of the surface layer of metal in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, energy, shipbuilding and railway transport, in the aerospace and oil and gas industries, repair, installation and service organizations, etc.
Portable hardness testers are environmentally friendly.
Additional information is posted in the Album of promising developments of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for the real sector of the economy here (in Russian).

Advantages and Innovations
Analogues: hardness tester "Constant TD", TEMP hardness testers LLC NPP "Techno-test", dynamic hardness tester MET D1 / hardness tester MET-D1A (all – Russian Federation) (in Russian).
A distinctive feature of the instruments is the ability to carry out measurements in all generally accepted scales (HB, HRC, HV, HRB, HS, Rm), including measurements on products with a wall thickness of 5.5 mm or more and a weight of 1.5 kg without lapping to massive basis. Low impact energy (2 mJ) allows the use of hardness testers to control the finishing of mating surfaces.
With the latest modification of the TPTs-7 hardness tester, it is possible to use a companion application for Android devices, which significantly expands the functionality. The application allows you to save measurement results in the form of a spreadsheet, create photographs of the controlled product, use geolocation using GPS data, create custom calibrations, transfer data to other users, etc.
