Summary
The Institute of Chemistry of New Materials offers offers consumers a technology for producing new types of copolymers containing polyphenylene-1,3,4-oxadiazole and heat-resistant fibers under a commercial agreement with technical assistance and/or a license agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a technical cooperation agreement.
Description
Fibers based on new copolymers are used to produce heat-resistant filters, protective clothing, reinforcement of rubber products, composite plastics, etc.
New heat-stable fire-resistant synthetic fibers are used to produce products with enhanced protective properties: combat clothing for firefighters, rescuers, new types of special clothing (suits for power engineers, metallurgists, foresters, etc.), high-temperature gas filters, friction products, etc. The new fiber has been transferred from the "low-flammability" category to the "non-flammable" category (oxygen index 32).
In industrial conditions, pilot batches (more than 20 tons in total) of "improved" fibers have been produced at SvetlogorskKhimvolokno OJSC of the Belneftekhim Concern, which are in demand both in Belarus and abroad. A production line is being created for the production of new domestic fiber with a capacity of 100 tons per year.
