Summary
The Institute of Chemistry of New Materials offers consumers a module for layer-by-layer deposition of substances on a solid surface of self-organizing monolayers or multimolecular structures under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
The layer-by-layer deposition module forms self-organizing monolayers or multimolecular structures (polyelectrolytes or their combinations with proteins, inorganic nanoparticles, etc.) from a solution on a solid surface.
The layer-by-layer deposition module can operate both independently and in combination with a Langmuir setup.
Specifications:
– area of the substrate – not less than 25 sq.cm;
– number of containers, pcs. - 21;
– number of application cycles: unlimited;
– container feed rate – from 44 to 80 mm/min;
- immersion of the modified sample for a specified time in the solution;
– speed of raising/lowering the sample 0.01 – 75 mm/min.
The module can be used in cases requiring surface modification (passivation and protective coatings, research into the processes of substance self-organization on metal surfaces, formation of sensory coatings, interference and polarization filters, etc.).
The layer-by-layer deposition module uses the technology proposed in the technology offer of the Institute for the Chemistry of New Materials.
