Summary
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers infrared cabins with biotechnical feedback to consumers under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a research cooperation agreement.
Description
Since the invention of the infrared cabin, numerous medical and scientific studies have confirmed the therapeutic effect of infrared rays on the human body. Penetrating deep into the tissues, infrared heat rays warm the muscles, which, in turn, leads to an increase in heart rate and pulse. This is an excellent tool for stimulating the heart vessels and increasing their elasticity. Under the influence of infrared heat, the body's defenses are activated, preventing reproduction and destroying infections and bacteria. Along with these, there is an increase in the number of white blood cells - leukocytes, which are directly involved in the deactivation of pathogenic processes. This factor makes it possible to effectively prevent the occurrence of oncological diseases, and also helps to accelerate the treatment of cancer patients.
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has developed infrared cabins with biotechnical feedback by monitoring the patient's basic physiological data and automatically controlling the parameters of the infrared procedure based on the incoming information. The IR cabin module is made of standard elements, which makes it possible to realize the versatility of the product, modularity of design, adjustment to the height and weight of the patient, the use of various radiation sources with regulation of their position and angle of inclination, the possibility of mounting measuring sensors and additional equipment.
In the IR-cabin are installed:
-sensors for recording the physiological parameters of the patient;
-sensors of registration of the thermal mode;
-data transmission unit;
-data receiving unit;
-control block;
-data input device;
-information display device;
-emitters;
-step-down transformer power supply.
The presence of a step-down transformer in the power supply unit protects the patient from accidental electric shock. To protect the patient's head from overheating, protective reflectors and ventilation valves are provided. Infrared heaters do not reduce the oxygen content in the cabin air, thereby preventing dehydration and drying of the skin.
Specifications of infrared cabin:
Infrared cabin (IR cabin) is intended for conducting therapeutic thermal procedures in medical, health and sports practice by thermal effect of near infrared radiation on the human body with automatic control of exposure parameters, taking into account the physiological state of the patient.
The Institute offers partners:
* within the framework of a production agreement, the creation of a joint production of infrared cabins to activate the functional reserves of the human body;
* within the framework of an agreement on scientific cooperation: joint research on the effect of IR procedures on the patient's physiological data.

Advantages and Innovations
An innovative feature of the device is the implementation of biotechnical feedback by monitoring the patient's basic physiological data and automatically controlling the parameters of the IR procedure based on the incoming information. This allows you to coordinate the intensity of the heat load with the individual functional state of the patient throughout the entire session of IR therapy.
The advantages of the IR cabin also include:
- low power consumption compared to existing analogues, such as Harvia Radiant SGC0909HE (1.34 kW), Harvia Radiant SGC1210BR (1.82 kW), SAWO IR-1P-CEDAR (7 kW), Mariana 2 (1.15 kW) and others;
- short preparation time for the procedure;
- high level of security.
