Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers laser-optical photostimulators for increase reproduction and cultivation of hydrobionts under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus together with the Institute of Fish Farming of NAS of Belarus, as well as the Department of Ichthyology and Fish Farming of Belarusian State Agricultural Academy accomplished comprehensive studies of the laws of action of laser radiation and LED light sources on embryos and sperm of valuable species of fish (sturgeon, salmon, rainbow trout), as well as the main specie of pond fish farming in the Republic of Belarus – carp.

The performed research formed the basis for the creation of innovative photostimulators, designed to increase the reproduction and cultivation of hydrobionts, made on the basis of laser and LED sources and integrated into technological equipment usually used in fish farms for incubating fish reproductive products (tray-type incubators, Weiss incubators).

Laser-optical photostimulators provide:
* increase in 1.3–1.4 times the reproductive function of fish;
* increasing the fertilizing ability of sperm;
* increasing the output of marketable products in the conditions of fish-breeding industrial complexes;
* increasing the resistance of hydrobionts to the effects of adverse environmental factors (toxicants, high or low temperature, lack of oxygen).

Specifications:
Operating radiation wavelength, nm λ1=650, λ2=780
Exposure mode continuous (modulated)
Timer, s 1..3600
Compatible with the technological equipment for the incubation of reproductive products of fish

Application area: fish farming.

B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics offers partners:
* laser-optical photostimulators for increase reproduction and cultivation of hydrobionts under a manufacturing agreement;
* laser-optical photostimulators for increase reproduction and cultivation of hydrobionts under a distribution services agreement.

Advantages and Innovations
Laser-optical photostimulators have an advantage over conventional tray-type incubation tanks and Weiss incubators; they make it possible to increase the efficiency of artificial reproduction and cultivation of hydrobionts by 1.3–1.4 times by increasing the survival rate of embryos and larvae, increasing the size and weight parameters of juvenile fish, as well as optimizing the technology of commercial aquaculture at low cost of equipment for its implementation.
