Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers mobile laser spectral analyzers for qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis of solid samples under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures mobile laser spectral analyzers (MLSA) is designed for qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis of various solid samples – metals, alloys, ores, ceramics, semiconductors and crystals, soils, ect.

The basis of the analysis is atomic emission spectroscopy of laser-induced plasma created near the sample surface by the focused high-density laser beam (the method is known better as LIBS).

The registration system includes:
* diffraction spectrometer + CCD (charge-coupled device);
* software for quantitative and qualitative analysis.

MLSA has the following features:
* possibility of application for both research and industrial applications;
* two-pulse ablation mode (increase in the level of the useful signal by one or two orders of magnitude);
* increased energy (the ability to analyze any solid materials);
* high locality and the ability to conduct microanalysis and simultaneous multi-element analysis;
* the ability to analyze both conductive and dielectric materials, solve problems of surface, layer-by-layer, dynamic analysis, study the homogeneity of materials and the distribution of elements.

Specifications:
Laser type 2-channel solid-state diode-pumped laser
Wavelength, nm 1064
Maximum pulse energy, mJ 63
Maximum pulse repetition rate, Hz 10
Pulse half-width, ns 10
Applied area, mm < 2
Continuous operation time, h 8

Maximum power consumption, W < 1000
Registration system:
- spectral range, nm 200..1000
- spectral resolution, nm 0,014

Areas of application:
* petrochemical industry and refineries;
* environmental monitoring (soil pollution, dust);
* semiconductor industry;
* metallurgy and mechanical engineering;
* mining industry;
* pharmaceuticals;
* aerospace, etc.

B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics offers partners:
* mobile laser spectral analyzers for qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis of solid samples under a manufacturing agreement, with the possibility of optimizing software and measurement techniques for the customer's tasks.
* mobile laser spectral analyzers for qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis of solid samples under a distribution services agreement.
