Description
Extracted Nanocomposite fullerene soot with the addition of Fe may be used as abrasive material.
Technical specification or expertise sought
Specifications:
* microhardness of inclusions superhard phase - up to 107 GPa;
* phase-base microhardness up to 14,6 GPa;
* specific gravity - 2,14..2,18 g/cm3.

The resulting composite material is ~90% continuous amorphous carbon phase cabbage and nanocrystallites of various morphology and degree of dispersion (1,5..14,5 nm), and also contains inclusions dispersed particles of α-Fe and Fe carbides. For its technology is used high pressures. Together with BSTU.
