Summary
The Institute of Experimental Botany offers consumers a method for an environmentally friendly way to control Sosnowski's hogweed using a growth regulator - maleic acid hydrazide on the basis of a manufacturing agreement or an outsourcing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
An environmentally safe method using a growth regulator - maleic acid hydrazide (Fazor 80 VG preparation) for effective control over the development of Sosnowsky hogweed populations. Its application allows to preserve the vegetation cover on the site as much as possible and, thus, to avoid the emergence of new invasive species and the consequences of water erosion in bare areas.
A low-volume targeted application of a low-hazard drug is provided for young, actively growing plant organs, which reduces the amount of herbicide applied, and therefore increases environmental safety and economic efficiency of development.
The recommended drug of selective action, in contrast to the continuous herbicides "Roundup, BP" (Belgium) and "Terrsan, VDG" (Russia) used to combat hogweed, allows you to save grass herbage and can be used in specially protected natural areas and water protection zones.

Additional comments
The Institute is the leading scientific institution coordinating botanical, physiological and biochemical research in Belarus, provides scientific support for state regulation and management in the field of handling flora objects, entrusted to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Flora".
The Institute takes part in international technical assistance projects, projects of the Belarusian Foundation for Fundamental Research within the framework of international competitions, projects of the UN Development Program, and others.
A Russian-Belarusian laboratory of innovative bioengineering technologies was created (partner organization - Institute of Biophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Krasnoyarsk, Russia) with the aim of conducting scientific research in the field of developing new principles for the formation of a phototrophic link of higher plants of closed ecosystems (ZES) for space and terrestrial purposes based on obtaining priority scientific data of innovative bioengineering technologies.
