Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers optical coherence tomography installations «OKTEM» for research in the field of microelectronics and medicine under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures «OKTEM» installations that allows non-contact registration of spectral- and polarization-contrast tomographic images of semiconductor and dielectric materials, as well as biological tissues possessing transparency region in IR-range, and evaluation of the morphology and functional state of the object according to these images.
The «OKTEM» installation is implemented as a set of active and passive hardware modules, which makes it easy to configure the installation for a wide range of planned tasks.
The «OKTEM» installation has the following features:
* wide spectral range;
* high spatial resolution;
* detection of low-contrast defects;
* increased sensitivity and performance;
* determination of the morphological properties of the object;
* miniaturization, mobility and flexibility of OCT probes;
* the possibility of developing mobile diagnostic systems;
* investigations on diagnostics of diseases and degree of - investigations on diagnostics of diseases and degree of invasion of the skin;
* control of the internal structure of materials and products semi-transparent in IR- range.
Specifications:
Areas of application:
* medicine (ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology);
* microelectronics (quality control of products made of semiconductor and dielectric materials, control of technological processes of their manufacture).
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics offers partners:
* optical coherence tomography installations «OKTEM» for research in the field of microelectronics and medicine under a manufacturing agreement;
* optical coherence tomography installations «OKTEM» for research in the field of microelectronics and medicine under a distribution services agreement.

Advantages and Innovations
The optical coherence tomography installation «OKTEM» has an innovative system with an operating range from 650 to 1400 nm, which allows it to be used both in medicine and in microelectronics (traditionally, OCT systems are optimized for two spectral ranges, near the wavelength of 800 nm (ophthalmology, cardiology) and 1300 nm (dermatology, industrial applications)). Currently, no systems with such a wide range have been created.
