Experimental and production enterprise "Ferrit" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures magnetic testing rods, designed to determine the presence of ferromagnetic impurities in bulk materials, and to determine the strength of the magnetic field at which these impurities can be extracted.

The magnetic system consist of a cylindrical stainless steel housing with strong ferrite magnets inside. The housing has a polished surface, which greatly simplifies the subsequent cleaning of metal impurities.

The ability to adjust the magnetic induction on the working surface allows to evaluate the magnetic susceptibility of the material under study. The magnetic induction on the working surface of the rod is adjusted by moving (in/out) the magnetic system relative to the working surface of the probe.

This magnetic system can adjust the magnetic field on the surface of the rod in a wide range and is available in two versions:
1) the range of 10..500 mT,
2) the range of 50..1000 mT.

* at enterprises for the storage and processing of grain and grain products;
* at food industry enterprises in the production and packaging of bulk food products;
* at enterprises for the manufacture of plastic products during preparation of raw materials;
* for input quality control and at critical control points on production lines;
