Summary
The Institute of Radiobiology offers consumers services for a comprehensive radioecological assessment of the impact of forest fires on secondary radioactive contamination of the territory and the dose load of firefighting participants under outsourcing agreement and is also looking for partners interested in concluding a distribution agreement.
Description
ForestFire (v.1.0.2) Specialized software for a comprehensive radioecological assessment of the impact of forest fires on secondary radioactive contamination of the territory and dose loads of participants in firefighting. It makes it possible to predict changes in the radioecological situation in forest phytocenoses based on the analysis of the mechanisms of migration of radionuclides in the components of woody plants, forest litter and soil, as well as to estimate the dose of external and internal irradiation of the population and personnel involved in the elimination of forest fires in areas of radioactive contamination.
Advantages and Innovations
The software package makes it possible to evaluate the transfer of radionuclides with smoke emission during the combustion of combustible materials of various degrees of contamination.
