Description
The process of surface thermal hardening provides a gradient structure on the steel armor elements for personal protective equipment, increases the level of ballistic protection and reduces the weight of the elements by 10-15%. Protective steel components, are surface-hardened plate IV-V level of protection with differentiated hardness over the cross section.
Advantages and Innovations
The process of surface hardening of steel components provides a gradient structure on armor elements for personal protective equipment, increases the level of ballistic protection against bullets (M-193) rifle M-16 A1, AKM rifles and bullets of AK-74 (7.62 TEOS, 7N10 NCP, NCP 7N24, PS-43, etc.) and SVD rifle bullets (LPS, 7.62 FS-CH), and reduces the weight of the elements by 10-15%.
