Summary
The Scientific and Practical Center for Bioresources offers consumers services on the use of a system for controlling the spread of alien species of fish pathogens and recommendations for minimizing the damage they cause in natural reservoirs and fish farms under an outsourcing agreement.
Description
For the first time, a system for monitoring alien species of fish pathogens has been developed for fish farms. The system includes an annotated list of alien species of parasites and guidelines for the rapid assessment of the degree of their danger to fish farms, which will allow timely signaling of the appearance of parasites in water bodies, quickly and efficiently diagnose them in populations of commercial fish species and take effective measures to minimize the negative impact on populations of introduced fish.
Advantages and Innovations
Preemptive parasitic and invasive threats. The introduction of the development at fish breeding enterprises will reduce the damage caused by parasitic diseases, and reduce the costs of antiepizootic measures by 20..30%.
