Summary
The Institute of History offers consumers Great Historical Atlas of Belarus under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in concluding a distribution services agreement.
Description
The fourth and final volume of the "Vyalіkі hіstarychny atlas of Belarus" reflects the period from the February Revolution of 1917 to the present day. The book reflects the military and revolutionary events, administrative changes, socio-political life, socio-economic, religious and cultural processes that took place on the territory of Belarus, as well as the process of our country becoming an active subject of international relations. The publication shows the difficult path of the formation of Belarusian statehood in the 20th century: the announcement of the Belarusian People's Republic, the formation of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic, the creation of an independent state of the Republic of Belarus. The events of the Polish-Soviet, World War II and the Great Patriotic War are reflected. The Belarusian lands within Poland and the process of their reunification with the BSSR are shown.
For the first time in Russian historiography, a conceptual model of the formation and development of the Belarusian statehood was created in the format of historical cartography. A distinctive feature and indicator of an innovative approach to the creation of all volumes is the presence of a general map and a geographic index. Thanks to this, you can trace the geography and clearly see the number of settlements destroyed during the Nazi punitive operations of 1941-1944.
