Summary
Institute of Chemistry of New Materials offers consumers the technology for obtaining disodium salt of 4,4'-azobenzenedicarboxylic acid for the production of Arselon fiber and thread under a commercial agreement with technical assistance and is looking for partners interested in developing other functional additives under a technical cooperation agreement.
Description
As part of the implementation of task 1/1 of the State Scientific and Technical Program "Small-tonnage Chemistry", 2016-2020, a new technology for producing a UV light stabilizer - DNS, ensuring the production of high-quality heat-resistant fiber "Arselon", was developed.
Technical preparation for the production of DNS was carried out, the material and technical support of the production was fully completed, commissioning of the pilot industrial production of DNS was carried out, 4 pilot batches of DNS were produced.
In 2020, together with OJSC SvetlogorskKhimvolokno, an import-substituting competitive production of DNS with a capacity of 25 tons per year was created.
DNS is used as a UV stabilizer for the production of fiber and thread "Arselon" at OJSC SvetlogorskKhimvolokno.
The created production fully meets the needs of OJSC SvetlogorskKhimvolokno for a UV stabilizer and allows to refuse the purchase of imported stabilizers.
Information is posted in Album of promising developments of the NAS of Belarus organizations for the real sector of the economy (2023), p. 211- 212. (in Russian)
