Description
Instrument Manufacturing Plant "Optron" manufactures lithium-ion batteries for general civil engineering, as well as for special-purpose products.
Lithium-ion batteries are used in general-purpose civil engineering (personal electric transport, small-scale mechanization equipment), as well as in special-purpose products.
Promising area of application: autonomous power supply of remote non-electrified housing stock. It is predicted that by 2030 the share of two-wheeled vehicles will increase to 47%. The demand for personal electric transport in the Republic of Belarus is mainly satisfied by imports. The limiting element in the operation of personal electric transport is lithium batteries.
In the coming years, it will be necessary to replace or repair imported batteries, which can be replaced with analogs produced by JSC "Instrument Manufacturing Plant Optron".
The plant has its own equipment for analysis, testing and automated spot welding of batteries of the form factor 18650, 26650.
Ensuring input control of batteries and selection of batteries suitable for subsequent assembly. Batteries are tested (Li-ion, LiFePo4, Lipol) in terms of current-charging and current-discharging characteristics, battery capacity, internal resistance with the ability to provide time graphs and reports on the tests performed.
The process of spot welding of storage batteries is automated. (video). Numerical control is used for spot welding of batteries, which makes it possible to speed up the welding process and eliminate the human factor in the manufacture of a block of storage elements. High-quality welding of nickel plates with a thickness of 0.02-0.2 mm is carried out.
