The Institute of Forest offers consumers the biopreparation "Brevisin" for forest cultivation purposes under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.

For the first time in the Republic of Belarus, the biological preparation "Brevisin" has been developed based on a special strain of the soil spore bacterium Bacillus brevis and the product of its vital activity - the polypeptide antibiotic brevisin.

The biological preparation "Brevisin" is designed to protect seeding and planting material of pine and spruce in forest nurseries from infectious fungal diseases that cause lodging of coniferous seedlings, pine-leaf and ordinary shute.

The biopreparation is highly stable in natural conditions, promotes the development of nitrogen-accumulating microorganisms in the soil, stimulates seed germination, growth and development of forest plants, inhibits the development of phytopathogenic fungi in the soil, and increases the yield of high-quality coniferous seedlings per unit area. The biopreparation provides a 10–15% increase in the yield of standard planting material for coniferous seedlings in forest nurseries.

It is produced according to the requests of state forestry institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus and other legal entities engaged in forestry.

The biological product "Brevisin" has passed the toxicological and hygienic examination at the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Hygiene" (act of 07.10.2009 No. 0115/12093/08-02), on the basis of which it is approved for use in forest nurseries as a biological means of protecting coniferous seed material from infectious diseases (certificate of state hygienic registration No. 08-33-0.372182).

It is produced according to TU BY 400070994.004-2008. It is included in the "State Register of Plant Protection Products (Pesticides) and Fertilizers Permitted for Use in the Republic of Belarus" for the protection of pine and spruce seed and planting material in nurseries from infectious fungal diseases that cause lodging of coniferous seedlings, snow and common shute (state registration certificate No. 3238 dated 12.04.2017, valid until 12.04.2027).

The development complies with the V technological structure. Corresponds to the best foreign analogues.
