Experimental and Production Enterprise "Ferrit" offers consumers magnetic separators of the SMB-PBM series for wet ore dressing under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude under a distribution services agreement.
Description
Experimental and Production Enterprise "Ferrit" manufactures magnetic separators of the SMB-PBM series, designed to remove ferromagnetic and weakly magnetic (enrichment process) metal impurities and inclusions from the stream of separated material in a wet environment, as well as for enrichment of magnetite ores or regeneration of magnetite weighting agents.
Separators of the SMB-PBM series have several modifications (two different designs of magnetic systems and four types of baths have been developed), which makes it possible to cover the entire range of types of magnetic ores and a wide range of particle sizes.
Direct-flow magnetic separator
Peculiarities:
- the feeding box provides uniform distribution of the given pulp;
- the feed section improves the distribution of the supplied pulp;
- a short collection zone reduces the settling of large particles on the bottom of the bath;
- replaceable unloading nozzles provide unhindered unloading of large classes.
Magnetic separator working on the principle of counter-rotation
Peculiarities:
- feeding box with supply pipes;
- the section of the feeding branch pipes improves distribution of the given pulp;
- extended collection area;
- adjustable (manually) tailings discharge system through the overflow threshold provides pulp level control and creates the required hydrostatic drop in the feed stream.
Countercurrent type magnetic separator
Peculiarities:
- the feeding box provides uniform distribution of the given pulp;
- the section of the feeding branch pipes improves distribution of the given pulp;
- medium sized collection area;
- the system of unloading tailings through the overflow threshold ensures the regulation of the pulp level.
Magnetic separator working on the principle of counter-rotation
Peculiarities:
- the design of the bath is adapted to the rotation of the drum in the opposite direction;
- strongly elongated collection area;
- magnetic system with an extended arc to compensate for problems associated with the presence of dispersed air in the pulp;
- magnetic system with high field gradient to extract small or very small particles of magnetic material.

Applications: mining and mining enterprises; production of titanomagnetite; removal of the grinding medium (for example, from the discharge products of ball mills); to reduce the content of magnetic pyrrhotite in sulfide ores; reduction of iron content (eg in quartz sand from glass industry) and feldspar production.
