Summary
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus offers consumers a industrial furnaces for heating and heat treatment of metal under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus together with the Baranovichi Machine Tool Plant (a branch of CJSC "Atlant"), is engaged in the creation of new and modernization of existing furnace equipment based on detailed thermophysical calculations, taking into account the latest world achievements.

Various models of chamber, shaft and bell furnaces have been developed and are being manufactured.

Chamber electric resistance furnace with stationary hearth SNO 6.12.4/11-I1
6-12-4

Features of SNO 6.12.4/11-I1:
- the presence of a combined lining to protect the heaters from charge impacts: the inner layer of the lining is made of one layer of fireclay bricks (except for the roof); the second layer of lining on the side walls, as well as the lining of the roof and dampers are made of high-temperature fibrous material;
- heaters made of Kanthal A-1 resistance alloys;
- control system based on an industrial controller with the ability to visualize and archive data;
- mechanized shutter.

Bogie hearth chamber furnace SNO 8.16.8/11
8

Features of SNO 8.16.8/11:
- lining made of lightweight fiber boards;
- resistance alloy heaters Kanthal A-1
- control system based on an industrial controller with the ability to visualize and archive data;
- special shaped ceramics for fixing heaters;
- mechanized under the hatches to control the cooling of the cage.

Shaft electric resistance furnace SSHO 6.6/9
6-6

Features of SSHO 6.6/9:
- lining made of lightweight fiber boards;
- Fibrothal system heaters;
- a control system based on an industrial controller with the ability to visualize and archive data (a separate cabinet);
- high-temperature fan to increase the uniformity of the charge heating and manual opening of the furnace cover.

Shaft electric resistance furnace SSHO 10.10/10
10-10

Features of SSHO 10.10/10:
- lining made of lightweight fiber boards;
- heaters made of Kanthal A-1 resistance alloys;
- control system based on an industrial controller with the possibility of visualization and data archiving (a stand-alone cabinet);
- special shaped ceramics for fixing heaters;
- electromechanical lifting of the furnace cover.

Main technical characteristics:
operating temperatures up to 1100 °С
weight melt from 200 to 1500 kg
energy savings compared to older counterparts up to 1.5-2 times
temperature uniformity in the working space ±5-7 °С

Industrial furnaces are used to perform various tasks, such as: preheating materials for subsequent work with them, heat treatment of raw materials, changing its properties, melting and cleaning metals, obtaining alloys; crystallization, separation of products into components, purification from impurities, evaporation and dehydration.

The Institute offers partners:
*a industrial furnaces for heating and heat treatment of metal under a manufacturing agreement;
*a industrial furnaces for heating and heat treatment of metal under a distribution services agreement.
Advantages and Innovations
The innovative features of the furnace equipment being created are:
- the use of a combination of lightweight high-temperature thermal insulation materials to reduce the thermal inertia of the furnace;
- use of ceramic refractories to create the required mechanical strength;
- application of modern resistance alloys for heaters;
- the use of shaped ceramics for fixing heaters;
- use of automated control systems.
