Summary
The Institute has developed and manufactures filters based on porous material from polytetrafluoroethylene «Грифтекс» for cleaning compressed air, natural and process gases from aerosols (water, oil) and solid particles. Three filter layers with different porosities ensure effective cleaning and high dirt holding capacity. The institute is ready to produce filters under a manufacturing agreement.
Description
The filter "Гриф" is made on the basis of the porous material from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) «Грифтекс», which consists of short fibers with an average diameter of 10..20 µm and a length of 0.2..2 mm. Porosity 85..90%, specific gravity 300..400 kg / m3. The specific surface area of the material is about 4.9 m2 / g. The thickness of the "Грифтекс" material can be varied in the range of 1.5..20 mm. In terms of chemical and thermal properties, it fully corresponds to the original PTFE. The material "Грифтекс" has a low adsorption memory, hydrophobicity, lyophilicity, resistance to aggressive liquids and gases, UV radiation, high heat resistance.
Designed for cleaning industrial process gases and liquids from mechanical impurities, separating wet gases, including compressed ones, in contact with chemically active substances in the temperature range from -120 to +60 ° C.
The filter element "Гриф" is manufactured in accordance with ТУ BY 400084698.227-2010.

Advantages and Innovations
Compared to filter elements made of powder or foamed metals, the filter "Гриф" have a significantly higher efficiency of capturing oil-water aerosols and several orders of magnitude greater dirt holding capacity.
