On October 31, 2023, the NAS of Belarus was visited by a delegation of the People's Government of Xi'an (PRC), the Xi'an Science and Technology Administration, and the Chinese-Belarusian High-Tech Aerospace Research and Development Center LLC, headed by the Secretary of the Xi'an City Party Committee, Mr. Fan Hongwei.

During the visit, the delegation was acquainted with the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus "Research. Development. Production", the Virtual exhibition of the NAS of Belarus, the activities of the NAS of Belarus, and RCTT.

The delegation met with the Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus academician Sergey Chizhik. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Main Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the NAS of Belarus Dr. Vladimir Podkopaev, the Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, and others.

A discussion on the state and the prospects for cooperation in the field of technology transfer and commercialization took place.
