Summary
The United Institute of Informatics Problems offers consumers a high-performance computing system "SKIF-GEO CDP" under an outsourcing agreement.
Description
The high-performance computing system "SKIF-GEO CDP" is designed to perform supercomputer calculations in modeling and designing products and processes with high accuracy, designing engineering products and solving mathematical and physical problems with a large amount of calculations.
Advantages and Innovations
The use of x86-64 multi-core processors with the AVX‑512 instruction set in the computing nodes of the cluster can significantly improve the performance of integer and floating point calculations due to the ability to perform operations with extra-long operands.
Stage of development
Already on the market
Comments regarding stage of development
The SKIF-GEO-CDP BY cluster is included in the 29th edition of September 24, 2018 of the Top-50 list of the most powerful computing systems installed in the CIS, and is the only non-Russian installation in the Top-50 list.
