The Flax Institute offers consumers a mid-season fiber flax variety Rubin within the framework of a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.

The average economic yield of seeds of the Rubin variety over the years of variety testing was 7.4 c / ha; straw - 60.8; trusts - 47.9; total fiber - 16.3, including long fiber - 12.4 kg/ha. The potential yield of fiber of the Rubin variety over the years of selection trials was 27.9 c/ha. The variety is high-fiber. The average content of the total fiber in the trust is 34.1%, that of the long fiber is 25.9%, the average number of the long scoured fiber is 12.3, and the calculated figure of merit of the yarn is 13.5 km.

Highly resistant to lodging (5.0 points), moderately resistant to fusarium wilt.
