Summary
Centre for Identification Systems and e-Business Operations offers consumers an automated information system for accounting for library collections using radio frequency identification technologies under an outsourcing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
The system provides automation of the main business processes of the library, including workstations for employees of the following departments:
- Acquisition Department;
- Processing department;
- Fund, including a network of storage facilities;
reading rooms;
- Workplaces for lending books, work with subscriptions, MBA;
- Reader registrations.
Accounting and control of the movement of readers and fund is performed automatically using RFID equipment. Each movement of the reader or storage unit initiates the generation of an event and its fixation in the automated system.
