Summary
The Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers biofertilizer «BIOTILIA» for minimize the negative impact of deicing reagents on urban plantings and improve plant growth under salinization conditions under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
The Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus together with SSI «Central Botanical Garden of the NAS of Belarus» has developed biofertilizer «BIOTILIA» for minimize the negative impact of deicing reagents on urban plantings and improve plant growth under salinization conditions.

The basis of preparation is salt-tolerant nitrogen-fixing and phosphate-mobilizing strains of bacteria Rhodococcus jostii CA-6 and Priestia megaterium Cp-1, which have complementary economically valuable properties:
* nitrogen fixation;
* phosphate solubilization;
* growth stimulation due to auxin synthesis;
* production of precursors of proline and concrete osmolites;
* degradation of oil and its refined products.

Efficiency:
Biofertilizer «BIOTILIA» increases adaptation and improves the vital condition of green plantings in salinization conditions, reducing by 19..28% the number of weakened trees growing along urban roads and highways.
When applying biofertilizer:
* microbiota of upper root layer of the soil is activated by 21..27%;
* content of main nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) increases by 2.5..3.3 times;
* content of sodium ions decreases by 1.2 times and chlorine by 1.7 times;
* degree of leaf damage by marginal burn (chlorosis) is minimized;
* content of universal osmoprotector proline increases in the leaves.

Biofertilizer «BIOTILIA» is environmentally friendly. Not phytotoxic, harmless to humans, animals and beneficial insects.

Advantages and Innovations
The competitiveness of the microbial fertilizer "Biotilia" is ensured by the content of unique salt-resistant bacteria with a complex of agronomically valuable and destructive properties, which have a positive effect on plant growth under salt stress. The use of the fertilizer helps clean the soil along city streets and highways from the remains of anti-icing reagents and oil products, which minimizes their negative impact on urban green spaces and reduces the number of weakened trees growing along city roads by 19-28%, reduces the accumulation of chloride ion and sodium oxide in the soil by an average of 1.8-2.0 times, ensuring an increase in the safety of trees by 20-30%.

The biofertilizer «BIOTILIA» contains new salt-tolerant bacterial strains (nitrogen-fixing Rhodococcus jostii CA-6 and phosphate-solubilizing Priestia megaterium Cp-1) that stimulate plant growth and are able to grow on an environment with 15% NaCl in a concentration of 2.4..3 times higher than the same indicator of the best foreign analogue (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CGMCC № 12959, patent CN-106591193-А (China)), and the technology for its production is less expensive.

The economic effect of using microbial fertilizer «BIOTILIA» for urban green spaces will consist of reducing the cost of annual replacement of planted trees (about 150 rubles/piece) and improving the condition of aged trees in plantings by 10..15%.
