Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures fully solid-state optical parametric oscillators (OPO) on crystals KTIOPO4 (КТР) or KTIOASO4 (КТА), intended for nonlinear optical conversion of pulsed radiation from Nd3+-pumped laser into eye-safe pulsed radiation at the wavelength of 1571 nm (KTP) or 1535 nm (KTA).

* the possibility of implementing the OPO operation in the traveling wave mode through the use of a ring resonator, which makes it possible to eliminate the pump radiation feedback between the Nd3+ laser and the OPO without the use of additional measures;
* the possibility of using a circuit solution in the case of a linear OPO resonator (standing wave mode), which allows eliminating feedback on pump radiation without the use of expensive Faraday isolators;
* completely solid-state approach.
