Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures «PDT-LASER» apparatuses designed for photodynamic therapy of oncological diseases and antimicrobial photodynamic therapy using the domestic «Photolone» chloride photosensitizer, as well as other pharmaceuticals with photosensitizing effects: methylene blue, chlorophyllipt, eucalyptus tincture, diagiperone, etc.
Indications for clinical use of the «PDT-LASER» apparatus:
* oncological tumors of any localization;
* purulent wounds and trophic ulcers;
* erosive and ulcerative formations;
* neurodystrophic diseases of a gynecological profile (kraurosis, leukoplakia, erosion of the vulva of a benign nature);
* periodontal diseases;
* infectious and inflammatory processes in ENT practice.
The laser system provides:
* high efficiency of treatment, due to the correspondence of the wavelength of laser radiation to the maximum absorption spectrum of the chloride of these photosensitizers;
* discrete setting of irradiation parameters (time, dose, power) with their display on a digital indicator;
* sound accompaniment of the phototherapy procedure.
Additionally the following can be supplied:
* laser radiation power indicator;
* mechanical light guide holder for treating superficial lesions;
* optical light guides with special distal devices for working with endoscopic equipment.
