Description
Friction composite materials are designed to work in brake and transmission units under conditions of stationary friction, in particular, when obtaining high-quality metal cord produced at the open joint-stock company "Belarusian Metallurgical Plant", ensuring the stability of the friction moment, an acceptable temperature balance of the friction pair, low vibroacoustic activity, high resistance to wear and contact loads in tension units.
Composites have high chemical and wear resistance, improved deformation strength and a stable friction coefficient in the range of 0.20..0.32. Can be operated at temperatures of 213..673 °K in contact with aggressive media - acids, alkalis, oil products; in conditions of dust and vibration; sliding speeds up to 10 m/s and specific loads up to 4 MPa.
Composites have high chemical and wear resistance, improved deformation strength and a stable friction coefficient in the range of 0.20..0.32. Advantages and Innovations
Products from the developed composites have a price 2..3 times lower in comparison with similar products of Italian, Austrian and German production. At the same time, they provide a service life of stationary friction units at given operating parameters no less than foreign counterparts.
