also issues related to the functioning of the state unified (integrated) republican information system for recording and processing appeals from citizens and legal entities.
The seminar is designed for specialists from organizations working with appeals from citizens and legal entities.

1. Legal regulation of consideration of appeals from citizens and legal entities.
2. Basic principles for considering appeals from citizens and legal entities.
3. Procedure and terms for consideration of applications. Requirements for the content and format of responses to requests from citizens and legal entities.
4. Typical violations and shortcomings when considering appeals from citizens and legal entities.
5. The procedure for considering complaints about negligence and improper consideration of previous complaints: problematic issues.
6. Responsibility for violations of legislation on appeals from citizens and legal entities.
7. Generalization of the results of work with appeals from citizens and legal entities in the organization.
8. Key results of the June republican seminar-meeting “Updating methods and forms of working with the population at the local level”
9. Main directions for improving legislation on appeals from citizens and legal entities: amendments to Law No. 176-Z dated 06/28/2022 (changes come into force from 01/02/2023).

Within the framework of the general strategic direction “Scientific substantiation of mechanisms for increasing the competitiveness of the Belarusian economy in the context of globalization,” five main thematic blocks of research have been identified:

- theory and methodology for the development of the national socio-economic model;
- institutional and financial mechanisms in the system of macroeconomic regulation;
- theory and mechanisms for the formation of an effective national innovation system;
- scientific foundations of the foreign economic strategy of the Republic of Belarus;
- social processes in economic development.

The research topics correspond to the priorities of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020, defined by the Program of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020, as well as the priority areas of scientific research of the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020, approved by the Resolution of the Council Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated March 12, 2015 No. 190 (clause 11 Society and economy).

Carrying out these studies allows the Institute of Economics to maintain the status of the leading scientific organization in the country, developing fundamental problems of economic theory and business practice in various spheres and sectors of the economy, to continue the development of scientific schools of economic theory, macroeconomics, innovative economics, world economy and international economic relations, regional economics .

The Institute also actively participates in scientific support of government bodies on issues of economic policy pursued in the country, and carries out applied economic research carried out on request and in the interests of business entities.
