Instrument Manufacturing Plant "Optron" offers consumers motorcycle traction drive for re-motorization of gasoline motorcycles, as well as the creation of other finished vehicles under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.

A team of 26 specialists (designers, technologists, metalworking specialists) of the Optron Instrument-Making Plant OJSC of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, led by Deputy Director General Stepan Yankevich, is developing a unified power plant for electric motorcycles.

Based on commercially available components and parts of our own design, a prototype has been assembled consisting of:
- an electric motor (based on a KAMAZ generator),
- a gearbox,
- electronics,
- power elements (LG 3.7V60A).

The power plant being developed can be used to re-motorize gasoline motorcycles, as well as to create other ready-made vehicles based on it.

Experimental and prototype models of EM-1, EM-2, EM-3 electric motorcycles will be developed using a full cycle of digital design.

A prototype of the electric traction drive is installed on the Minsk D4-125 motorcycle.
