Experimental and Production Enterprise "Ferrit" manufactures magnetic separators of the PBS-K series of drum type, designed for dry magnetic enrichment of iron ores.

The separators include: a conveyor belt, on which the separated material (ore) is poured, transported by it to a magnetic drum, in the magnetically active area of ​​which the magnetic separation process is carried out; drive (motor-reducer or electric motor and gearbox with belt drive); control panel, which may include a frequency converter (inverter) to control the speed of the conveyor belt with the material.

The width of the conveyor belt of the magnetic separator of the PBS-K series and the magnitude of the magnetic field induction in the magnetically active region of its drum are set depending on the required performance and the highest efficiency of the magnetic separation process, based on the characteristics of the separated material (ore).

Magnetic separators PBS-K have the ability to provide adjustment of the magnitude of the magnetic field in the field of magnetic separation.
