Description
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus has developed a computer program "Hypersonic flow around bodies of revolution", designed to determine the aerodynamic characteristics of bodies of revolution in hypersonic non-viscous flow: circular cone; a cone with a spherical blunt nose; frustum.
The program has a wide range of calculated characteristics:
- coefficient of wave resistance;
- dimensionless density on the surface of the body of revolution;
- dimensionless pressure on the surface of the body of revolution;
- the angle of shock wave deviation from the surface of the body of revolution;
- thickness of the conical flow layer;
- radius of the conical flow.
The program can be used in research and in the educational process.
The Institute offers interested partners:
* calculations of processes using the computer program "Hypersonic flow around bodies of revolution" under an outsourcing agreement;
* computer program "Hypersonic flow around bodies of revolution" under a license agreement;
* computer program "Hypersonic flow around bodies of revolution" under a distribution services agreement.
