The Scientific and Practical Center for Animal Husbandry offers consumers the breding lines of Pridneprovsky pigs in the Belarusian meat breed, adapted for intensive use in industrial pig farming as a maternal form under a manufacturing agreement or a license agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.

Based on the use of modern methods - DNA technologies (marker-dependent selection) and index selection, the Pridneprovsky breeding line was created and tested in the Belarusian meat breed of 30 boars and 326 sows, adapted for intensive use in industrial pig breeding as a maternal form, ensuring production competitive pork. The genealogical structure of the factory type consists of 5 factory lines: Zaslona 305, Zenita 100459, Zephyra 19, Zonta 100434, Zubra 3423.

Farm-type animals are distinguished by high productivity indicators:
* multiple births - 11.85 piglets per farrowing;
* milk yield - 55.1 kg;
* nest weight at weaning - 85.8 kg.

Indicators of productivity of young animals when assessed by phenotype:
* age of reaching a live weight of 100 kg - 176.5 days;
* average daily gain - 721 g;
* bacon thickness - 16.1 mm;
* lean meat content in the body - 53.2%.

Animals of the breding lines Pridneprovsky in the Belarusian meat breed are used in the republican system of crossing and hybridization on breeding farms, selection-hybrid centers, industrial complexes when selecting animals in interbreed crosses in order to obtain F1 parent pigs, characterized by high reproductive qualities, adapted for intensive use in industrial pig farming.

The Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Animal Husbandry is the only scientific center in the country conducting research in the field of selection, reproduction, housing technology and effective feeding rations for farm animals.
