Description
The use of a biomedical cell product (BMCP) of dermal fibroblasts allows for the effective correction of atrophic cicatricial and age-related skin changes. The treatment uses the registered BMCP "Human dermal fibroblast culture" (TU BY 100217351.008-2019).

Developers: State Scientific Institution "Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus", State Educational Institution "Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education".

Improved results in the treatment of scars and age-related skin atrophy (L90.5 and L57.4 according to ICD-10).

Scope - Medicine, dermatology, cosmetic surgery.

Consumers of the products: healthcare organizations providing medical care to patients in outpatient, inpatient, and day hospital settings.

Advantages and Innovations
Scar and age-related skin atrophy treatment using dermal fibroblasts is performed only at the State Scientific Institution "Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus".

Medical services associated with cell therapy are provided to patients of the Republic of Belarus and foreign citizens.

The method has shown high efficiency, examination using the ANTERA 3D system - a positive effect of dermal fibroblasts on changing such parameters as scar texture, volume of scar depressions, volume of scar convexities and skin parameters such as the wrinkle deepening coefficient, skin texture, volume of skin depressions, pore volume. Assessment using the POSAS scale and the facial wrinkle assessment scale demonstrated an improvement in all indicators by at least 2 points. Immunohistochemical study of the expression of collagen I, collagen type III, showed a significant effect of autotransplantation of dermal fibroblasts on scar remodeling, synthesis of mature collagen.

The developed treatment method has shown good tolerability and safety for the patient. Side effects are rare and do not pose a health hazard. The method is environmentally safe.
