Description
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus has developed a computer program "Thermodynamic calculation of processes in diesel internal combustion engines" designed for thermodynamic calculation of processes in diesel internal combustion engines.

The program is used:
- for thermodynamic calculation of processes in a diesel internal combustion engine;
- to calculate the composition of combustion products of a diesel engine (O, O2, O3, H, H2, OH, H2O, C, CO, CO2, CH4, N, N2, NO, NO2, NH3, HNO3, HCN);
- to predict the power, environmental performance of the engine when carrying out activities related to the modernization of the system for filling cylinders with a fuel-air mixture.

The program has a wide range of functions:
- calculation of parameters of a diesel internal combustion engine;
- calculation of fuel parameters;
- calculation of turbocharger parameters;
- calculation of the intake process;
- calculation of the compression process;
- calculation of the combustion process;
- calculation of the expansion process;
- calculation of indicator indicators of the cycle;
- calculation of engine efficiency;
- output of calculation results.

The program can be used in the educational process; to conduct their own scientific research; to substantiate new technical solutions in the development of a new diesel engine layout.

The Institute offers interested partners:
* thermodynamic calculations of processes in diesel engines using the computer program "Thermodynamic calculation of processes in diesel internal combustion engines" under a outsourcing agreement;
