The Forest Institute offers services for the development of recommendations for the appointment of preventive forest protection measures based on the methods of post-pyrogenic assessment of reforestation processes and the dynamics of the number of insect pests in coniferous phytocenoses under an outsourcing agreement.

The methods of post-pyrogenic assessment of reforestation processes and the dynamics of the number of insect pests in coniferous plantations make it possible to assess the success of the formation of natural plantations in burnt forests, as well as to assess their sanitary state, to predict the possibility of developing foci of insect pests and to promptly prescribe preventive forest protection measures that contribute to the reduction of pests caused by tree pests.

Economic benefits are achieved by reducing material and labor costs by 10..15% for carrying out reforestation activities and increasing by 15..20% the productivity and sustainability of plantations.

The methods have been introduced into the system of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus for carrying out reforestation and forest protection measures.
