Description
OJSC "Minsk Research Institute of Radiomaterials" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures dual axis inclinometers «INK-2» and «INK-2M», designed to measure the angles of inclination in two mutually perpendicular planes and generate formatted electrical signals proportional to the measured values.
Principle of operation:
The inclinometer contains a sensing element using the principle of a capacitive micro-pendulum based on Earth gravity. When the sensing element tilts, the pendulum retains its position under the influence of gravity, the capacitance of the capacitor changes accordingly, the electric charge is amplified, filtered and converted into the magnitude of the angle of inclination.
Dual axis inclinometers has the following design features:
* internal compensation of zero-level temperature drift and conversion factor;
* software correction of the spatial orientation of the sensitivity axes (leveling);
* connection to the COM port of the computer via the RS-485/CAN interface;
* sealed enclosure;
* the sensor can be equipped with software for collecting, recording and displaying information on a computer.
