Summary
The Scientific and Practical Centre for Bioresources offers consumers services for drawing up layouts for migration corridors of terrestrial vertebrates on the territory of Belarus for their integration into plans for the design and construction of transport infrastructure facilities on the basis of an outsourcing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
For the entire territory of Belarus, a Scheme of migration corridors of ungulates has been developed and territories with varying degrees of probability of the formation of migration corridors of amphibians have been identified. The implementation of this scheme in practice contributes to the conservation of globally significant biodiversity; will be used in the development of elements of the ecological network, in the design of networks of infrastructure facilities (roads, railways, gas pipelines, product pipelines, power lines, etc.), energy facilities (hydro, wind, power plants) and other objects of economic activity that impede the natural course settlement processes and the exchange of the gene pool between populations.
The development corresponds in its quality and competitiveness to the needs of the international market and is intended for integration into the Pan-European Ecological Network and the Ecological Network of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In particular, it is a justification for obtaining investments and loans for the construction and reconstruction of infrastructure facilities from the World Bank.
