The Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers biosorption preparation «RHODOBEL-TN®» for purification and reclamation of soil and water from oil and its petroleum refining products under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.

The Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures biosorption preparation «RHODOBEL-TN®» (in dry form) and its microbial component (in liquid form), designed for purification and reclamation of soil and water from oil and its petroleum refining products.

The basis of preparation is:
* consortium of superactive microbial degraders of petroleum hydrocarbons (Bacillus sp. 2-4-201N, Bacillus sp. 4 NG-PSD, Rhodococcus wratislaviensis G13, Rhodococcus ruber 1 NG-30P);
* peat as an oil sorbent and carrier for immobilization of destructive microorganisms on it;
* biogenic elements (N,P,K) to ensure balanced nutrition of destructive microorganisms;
titer - not less than 1.0×10⁹ CFU/ml (l.), 1.0×10⁹ CFU/g (d.).

«RHODOBEL-TN®» combines properties of:
* oil sorbent;
* oil destructors;
* recultivator of purification soil and water by enriching humic acids of peat and organic matter of biomass of microbial degraders.

The action of preparation is based on peat sorption of leaked oil and capacity of immobilized microorganisms to utilize
petroleum hydrocarbons as nutrition sources. Microorganisms included in preparation are capable of decomposing almost all hydrocarbons to environmentally neutral products in a wide temperature and pH range.

Efficiency:
The preparation provides purification of soil by 97..99% with a degree of oil pollution up to 0.5% for 2 months in spring and autumn. The terms of cleaning the soil with preparation increase in accordance with the increase in degree of its pollution with oil.

Biopreparation «RHODOBEL-TN®» is non-toxic and non-pathogenic. Preparation and products of biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons do not have a harmful effect on the environment (hazard class IV).

Application guidelines:

Recommended «RHODOBEL-TN®» expense for complete disposal of 100 kg of petroleum, provided the degrading agent acts at the depth of tilled soil horizon 30..35 cm

* 6 months (l.) since fabrication date within temperature range +4 to +15 °C,
* 3 months (l.) since fabrication date at room temperature,
in shady place.

Application area: decontamination of soil and water polluted with crude oil and petroleum refining products (oil transportation and refining industry, including oil and petroleum product storage facilities, fuel depots; territories of railway depots, washing and refueling stations, etc.).
