Dutch company is looking for solutions to preserve steel in a more sustainable way

Large Dutch steel company wishes to make their current wet coating steel conservation sustainable and is looking for suppliers of complete systems to improve this process. Looking for commercial partners who can supply complete solutions with technical assistance, or technical cooperation partners that offer sustainable alternatives for preservation of steel structures with new preservation methods.

The Dutch company is an established name in steel construction and has various locations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. Each location has its own specialism. Many, often leading steel construction projects, have been realized, focused on the markets: commercial construction, steel stairs, infrastructure and special constructions.

Part of steel construction is the preservation of the steel, not only to make it look beautiful, but more importantly to offer protection against corrosion. The current system the company applies is a so-called wet coating by which an industrial coating (zinc phosphate, epoxy coating) is applied by means of spray guns.

The company would like to make the preservation process more sustainable and are looking for companies that can support them in this.

With more sustainable they mean:

  • environmentally friendly
  • improvement of working conditions
  • easily removable when reusing steel after its service life has expired
  • less paint loss.

While maintaining:

  • at least the same quality or better
  • at least the same drying time or shorter.

The company is looking for suppliers that can offer complete systems to improve steel conservation within the frame of a commercial agreement with technical assistance or partners who can offer sustainable alternatives for preservation of steel structures through other/new preservation methods or alternative materials within the frame of a technical cooperation agreement.
