Summary
The Institute of Mechanics of Metal-polymeric Systems named after V.A Bely offers consumers a fluoroplastic composite material Superfluvis on the basis of a manufactoring agreement or through technology transfer based on a license agreement and is looking for partners to conclude an distribution services agreement.
Description
Superfluvis material is a composite based on fluoroplastic-4 and ground carbon fiber BELUM. It is distinguished by the use of a fundamentally new method of modifying a carbon filler with a nano-coating of a fluoropolymer in an electric discharge plasma. The gas-phase finishing of the fibers ensures the technological compatibility of the components and an increase in the properties of the composite: strength, hardness, thermal conductivity and wear resistance.

Designed for the manufacture of parts of friction units without lubrication, including: sealing rings of movable and fixed joints, piston rings, sliding bearings.

The material is produced in the form of blanks and a molding composition according to TU BY 400084698.178-2006 "Superfluvis antifriction material" dated 08.11.2006.
Advantages and Innovations
The main advantages of parts made from Superfluvis are the ability to work without lubrication, reduced wear of both the part itself and the mating surface, resistance to chemical attack of aggressive media, reliable operation in hard-to-reach places, at high loads and temperatures. The material is irreplaceable in heavy compressors, which must provide high purity of compressed gases and are used in the chemical, food, and automotive industries.
