Summary
The Flax Institute offers consumers the technology for stabilizing flaxseed oil "Lyanok" with a herbal additive for use in food and medical purposes under a commercial agreement with technical assistance or a license agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a technical cooperation agreement.
Description
The technology for the production of edible flaxseed oil is based on the use of a new method of stabilizing flaxseed oil using available natural oxidation inhibitors. The kinetic patterns of accumulation of primary and secondary oxidation products in flaxseed oil and the consumption of unsaturated components of flaxseed oil depending on the conditions of its storage have been studied. A method has been developed for stabilizing flaxseed oil using a phytocomposition based on beans and soybeans, which ensures effective inhibition of oxidative aging of flaxseed oil and increases shelf life, preserving the organoleptic, nutritional and medicinal properties of the oil.
Advantages and Innovations
The technology for producing stabilized edible flaxseed oil “Lyanok” ensures its storage for 9 months. The main technological stages of oil production: cold pressing from fiber flax seeds on a screw press, clarification of crude oil by settling, preparation of a stabilizing phytocomposition based on beans and soybeans, stabilization of the oil using composition additives. Additional net income from the production of oil from flax seeds of domestic selection and the sale of high-protein flaxseed meal is 1,500 thousand rubles/ha.
