Summary
The Forest Institute offers consumers a diagnostic kit of DNA markers for genetic certification of economically valuable genotypes of common ash, hornbeam, and black alder under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
Based on the analysis of the structural organization of the fragments of the cytoplasmic genomes of woody plants, diagnostic sets of DNA markers for genetic certification of economically valuable forms of common ash, hornbeam and black alder were formed and tested, including microsatellite (SSR) sequences of chloroplast and mitochondrial DNA of the species under study.

Scope: selective seed production of forest-forming species (forestry).
Advantages and Innovations
Sets of DNA markers (cpSSR and mtSSR) for common ash, hornbeam and black alder have been developed for the first time. There are no analogues. The used list of highly variable loci provides high resolution (pm = 1 * 10-7) of genetic certification of economically valuable forms of woody plants at the intraspecific level.
