Summary
The Institute of Land Reclamation offers consumers polyethylene well filters for water intake wells and hydraulic structures as a fish protection device under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Polyethylene filter plates are flat sheets of randomly arranged and thermally bonded polyethylene fibers. The plates are used as a filter material to retain soil particles and separate suspensions from liquids and gases.
Technical specifications:
* plate dimensions - 1.0x4.0 m
* thickness 4.8 mm or more (on request)
* weight 0.7...1.5 kg per 1 sq.m
* porosity 60-80%
* Filtration coefficient 200...500 m/day.
Scope of application: water supply, water construction, agriculture (water wells, fish protection devices, hydraulic structures, drainage, water absorption devices).
Polyethylene filter plates are produced according to customer requirements of various porosity and thickness.

Advantages and Innovations
The use of a polyethylene well filter saves 20-25 USD. for its arrangement on every square meter.
Designed for use as a water receiving surface for filters in water intake and exploration wells. The filter provides free access to clean, free water inside the well. Replaces brass mesh or stainless steel wire wound filters. Costs during well construction are also reduced by reducing the volume of gravel packing, taking into account the high filtration characteristics of the well polyethylene filter. The filter can be used in water management and reclamation construction, in hydraulic structures, in wastewater treatment systems, and used for fish protection.

Additional comments
The Institute of Land Reclamation provides scientific support for the use of more than 4.5 million hectares of agricultural land, including 2.9 million hectares of drained land and 1.6 million hectares of meadow land with a natural water regime.
Main directions of scientific and scientific-technical activities:
- Development of highly efficient energy- and resource-saving technologies and design solutions for the construction, operation, repair and reconstruction of reclamation systems, management of the water-air regime of reclaimed lands and irrigation.
- Development of highly efficient energy- and resource-saving technologies and design solutions for the construction, operation, repair and reconstruction of reclamation systems, management of the water-air regime of reclaimed lands.
- Modeling and comprehensive monitoring of reclaimed areas and the environment with
using modern diagnostic methods, computer technologies, geographic information systems and databases to provide information support for making environmentally and economically effective decisions in the planning and design of reclamation activities and the use of reclaimed lands.
- Creation of highly efficient zonal farming systems on reclaimed lands, ensuring rational use of land resources and sustainable functioning of natural systems.
- Development of economically and environmentally sound technologies for intensifying the use of hayfields and pastures, including grass seed production.
