Summary
The Polessian Institute of Plant Growing offers consumers a three-line mid-early corn hybrid Polessian 195 CB FAO 210 under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Three-line mid-early hybrid of the Polessian Institute of Plant Growing selection. In terms of economic indicators, the hybrid fully meets the requirements modern technology, suitable for mechanized harvesting. Highly flexible, able to provide high fodder and grain productivity on poor sandy and sandy soils. Early flowering and start grain filling provide a high level of energy in the silage mass and guarantee the ripening of the grain in climatically unfavorable conditions. Recommended for cultivation for silage throughout the country, for grain - in areas where the sum of effective temperatures is above 8500С.
Economic and biological characteristics:
- As a grain hybrid, Polessian 195 SV is distinguished by early grain maturation and rapid moisture yield
- As a silage hybrid - high dry matter yield potential
- It is characterized by intensive starting growth
- Resistant to pre-harvest lodging
- Resistant to stem Fusarium
- Tolerant to northern helminthosporia leaf blight
- Grain moisture during harvesting is on average 29.2%
- Grain yield 76.7 - 79.0%
- Protein content in grain 10.2%, starch 70.7%
- When grown for silage, the average dry matter content in the green mass is 29.9%. Protein content in green mass 8.4
- Collection of protein per hectare 16.4 c.

Additional comments
The main directions of scientific and practical activity of the enterprise "Polessian Institute of Plant Growing" is the introduction of new competitive varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus and the development of scientifically based and economically justified technologies for their cultivation, as well as:
- Creation of productive, high-quality varieties and hybrids of corn, sunflower, perennial grasses, cereals and vegetables using traditional breeding methods.
- Improvement of farming systems, taking into account the specific soil and climatic zones of the region, providing an economically viable crop of crop products, preserving
soil fertility.
- Improvement of existing and development of new cost-effective technologies for growing and harvesting fodder crops.
- Optimization of technologies for the production of crop products, allowing the maximum realization of the genetic potential of plants in specific soil and climatic zones of the Gomel region
areas while minimizing resource costs.
The Institute is one of the leading in the Republic of Belarus in the selection of corn and sunflower, is engaged in the creation of varieties of annual and perennial fodder grasses using traditional breeding methods, reproduction and obtaining original seeds. Particular attention is paid to the optimization of technologies for the cultivation of cereals, legumes, corn, sunflower, annual and perennial fodder grasses in specific soil and climatic zones of the Polessian zone.
